Service Policy
1.
Owner will be solely
responsible for insuring said boat against all losses.
2.
If said boat is located at
Sailboats, Inc. facility between the dates of November 1 and April 30 it
is considered as in storage and Owner must pay all storage fees in
advance and sign a storage agreement. Some fees may be waived in
consideration of work to be performed.
3.
Work performed will be
billed upon completion. Owner agrees to pay upon receipt of bill. 1.5%
late fee will be assessed per month for all bills over 30 days.
4.
A 50% deposit required on
all specially ordered parts that are not normally stocked by Sailboats,
Inc. when the total value is over $200. A 20% restocking fee will be
charged for any special order parts returned for any reason.
5.
Work will be completed in
the order that it is received whenever possible. Emergencies and new
boat deliveries could change the work order. Due to the nature of the
work and the unpredictability of what needs to be done, Sailboats, Inc.
cannot promise completion dates. Please restrain from calling to see
when your work will be completed, that only takes time and delays work
in progress for everyone. Sailboats, Inc. will call you when your boat
is finished.
6.
A signed Marine Service
Order with detailed description of work to be completed must be
completed before commencement of work will begin.
Estimates
(insurance or general repair) are $89
Estimate is based on our
inspection and does not cover any additional parts or labor which
may be required after the work has been started. Occasionally, worn
or damaged parts are discovered which may not be evident on the
first inspection. Because of this, the estimate is not guaranteed.
Quotations on parts and labor are current and subject to change.
Actual time and materials will be charged.
